Music is an effective way to communication and learning for children with autism for two major reasons: It can create a consistent, stable and predictable environment and therefore bring comfort in unfamiliar or stressful settings. And at the same time, music can be infinitely flexible, changing from moment to moment, reflecting the child's behavior and emotions.
